General
The professional 76-KT Class-A compressor by Klark Teknik is a 19-inch rack unit that offers a wide selection of compression ratios and ultra-fast adjustable attack and release times. It has a vintage-style VU meter that shows the output's Gain Reduction visually, which you can adjust to have zero on the VU meter correspond with an output level of +4, +6 or +8 dBm. Set the compressor ratio by hand with the push of a button.
Classic FET-Style Compression
The 76-KT offers you a choice of four different compression ratios: 4:1 (Moderate Compression), 8:1 (Severe Compression), 12:1 (Mild Limiting), and 20:1 (Hard Limiting). You can set the compressor to or more of these ratios. When you use the All Button functionality, this is effective for drums, bass, guitar, room mics, or aggressive vocals. You can set the Attack and Release time, which is the amount of time it takes for the compressor to react to the input that goes over the threshold, as well as the desired input and output levels on the front panel.
Class-A Line Level Amplification with MIDAS Transformers
The Klark Teknik 76-KT compressor is an ultra-modern device based on the legendary 1176LN compressor. It makes use of MIDAS input and output transformers and hand-selected components for a fully discrete signal. The result is excellent audio quality for audio production in the studio and on stage. The 76-KT is also equipped with balanced Neutrik XLR inputs and outputs and the durable chassis is 2U high and fits in a 19-inch rack unit.

Deze compressor heeft nooit €771,- gekost, dit is een "Black Friday korting".
Ziet er goed uit, mooie prijs. Jammer genoeg veel te veel ground noise. Geeft veel witte ruis. En na vele reviews te lezen blijkt dit vaak voor te komen bij deze toestellen

Super,livraison rapide
Een 1176 voor dit geld? Daar moet wat mis mee zijn!? Absoluut niet... Staat zijn mannetje in de studio voor een fractie van de prijs van een "echte". Ik gebruik hem als tracking compressor in mijn vocal chain en zoals je van dit soort compressors mag verwachten vlakt hij de pieken netjes af met een lekker analoog randje.
Top prijs kwaliteit!
geweldige compressor voor een bizar lage prijs. Laat de prijs je niet voor de gek houden. De bouwkwaliteit is uitstekend en de klank erg goed. Helaas is de bezorging bij Bax-shop niet zo goed meer als vroeger en kwam product 2 dagen later aan dan beloofd. Ook het feit dat je 30 minuten moet wachten om iemand aan de telefoon te krijgen is tegenwoordig ook heel normaal. Jammer want vroeger was dit echt veel beter. Neemt niet weg dat het product geweldig is!

Ik heb ook een WarmAudio 1176 die veel duurder is maar in mijn ogen niet better dan KT1176

Deze Klark Teknik 1176-KT is gebaseerd op de beroemde 1176LN D & E revisies en je moet wel heel erg goeie oren hebben om het verschil te merken! Deze compressor is werkelijk fantastisch op bijv. vocalen! De release op snelst (7) en de attack rond 'kwart voor 9' zorgt ervoor dat vocalen naar voren komen in de mix maar strak en rond blijven klinken. In 1 woord geweldig!
De bouwkwaliteit is uitstekend met stevige knoppen en schakelaars. Zowel XLR als Jack connecties zijn mogelijk en daarmee is deze compressor zowel geschikt voor de studio als voor bijvoorbeeld live.
Ik kan niet anders zeggen dat ik zeer uitkeek naar het gebruiken van deze 1176-KT en hij heeft me zeker niet teleurgesteld. De prijs/kwaliteits-verhouding is zeer goed. Dikke aanrader.
